Compliance and Governance

What is compliance and why does Promar have a compliance management system?

Compliance has always been part of our philosophy. At Promar - this is a matter of course and is part of our responsible corporate governance. However, for a company of the size of Promar with fewer than 200 employees, it is not a matter of course to establish a Compliance management system in accordance with the relevant legal regulations. We are proud to transfer individual elements of Compliance to the Compliance management system. This includes a clear assignment of responsibilities, tasks, and permissions, and a matrix organization that deals with Compliance issues. The Compliance Management System at Promar is reviewed on an ongoing basis and, if necessary, improved.

At PROMAR, we act with transparency, integrity, and responsibility. We strive to build a work environment based on trust, respect, and openness.

We want to build a work environment based on trust, respect and openness. Therefore, in addition to the possibility of raising objections to Compliance, we have implemented a whistleblower protection procedure, treating it not only as a legal obligation, but above all as an element of conscious management and a healthy organizational culture.

What can be reported?

Violations of the law related to the safety of products and their Compliance with legal requirements, transport safety, food safety, environmental protection, public health, consumer protection, protection of privacy and personal data, cases of corruption and violations in public procurement, competition rules (public law), state aid or PROMAR taxation, and other violations of the law specified in Article 3(1) of the Act on the Protection of Whistleblowers – the full list is available in our procedure [link to procedure]

Note:

The whistleblower reporting system is not the appropriate channel for reporting cases of mobbing or discrimination.

Whistleblower protection

Reports are handled fairly and confidentially. Whistleblowers are protected from retaliation and their identity remains secured.
